PartyGaming already bought out FoxyBingo in the bingo side of the market, a huge shake-up for the gaming industry in general but if they were to swallow up Bwin too, it could make PartyCasino and other PartyGaming brands, some of the biggest casinos on the net.
The new company will be known as Bwin.party digital entertainment Plc, bringing new online bingo and online casino branding right across Europe with a whole host of huge promotions and giveaways. Of course, all of this is music to the ears of online casino players, but with less brands in the market there is a downside. The less people own the most companies and competition starts to disappear and that’s why the Monopolies commission will be keeping an eye on the merger.
